North Kitsap Senior Pictures | Scarlett’s Grad Session at Point No Point

Scarlett's senior pictures at Point No Point were bright, cheerful, and packed with meaning. Like a growing number of Kitsap seniors, she finished this spring with two diplomas — graduating from Central Kitsap High School while also earning her Associate's Degree from Olympic College through the Running Start program. She came to her session ready to celebrate both, and the afternoon could not have been a better backdrop for it. Sunny, warm, and clear with the trees lush and green and the beach bright and open.

If you want to see where her senior portrait journey started, check out Scarlett's summer session in Silverdale from earlier in the year.

Her outfits gave the gallery a lot of range. Jeans and a college tee kept the casual looks relaxed and personal, and a black dress added something bolder and more polished. Then both caps and gowns rounded everything out. Her red Olympic College cap and gown with a white sash popped against the sunny beach backdrop, and her black Central Kitsap cap and gown with an orange sash was a strong, bold contrast against the bright surroundings. Two completely different color stories that both worked beautifully in the light.

Scarlett came with a lot of meaningful details and we made sure to work all of them in. She brought her Eastern Oregon University pendant and a large flag, both of which were genuinely fun for photos and added real energy and movement to the shots.

And then there was the shot with her two childhood toys, her bible, and her softball, all important parts in who she is today. She set them in the sand watching her walk away in her cap and gown. The idea of the things that were with her at the very beginning of her life watching her step into the next chapter is just genuinely beautiful, and the photo delivered on every bit of that.
