Kitsap Senior Pictures | Eulanh’s Grad Session at Point No Point
Eulanh's senior pictures at Point No Point were one of those sessions where the outfit sets the entire tone from the moment you arrive. She chose to wear her traditional Vietnamese long dress in a muted light green, and it was such a meaningful and beautiful way to weave her culture into what is already a really special milestone. It made the session feel personal in a way that goes beyond just great photos, and the result was something really unique.
It was a windy evening, but once we made our way to the main part of the beach the trees did their job and sheltered us completely. Point No Point in May had a lush, full green to it that felt different from the early spring sessions there, and the higher tide kept us closer to the driftwood and the tree line rather than spreading out across a wide open beach. It ended up being exactly the right setup for the soft feel of her first look.
Eulanh also brought her Seattle University college pendant, which was red, and it was such a thoughtful detail. Against her light green dress and the green backdrop behind her it added this small but really effective pop of color that gave the photos extra dimension without being distracting. Those little personal touches are always the ones that make a gallery feel complete.
For her second look she wore her cap and gown over the dress, and the bold blue with the red sash was a complete shift in energy from the softness of the first outfit. Where the Vietnamese dress created these really delicate, airy images, the cap and gown shots had presence and color. The red sash also echoed the Seattle University pendant in a way that felt intentional even though it just worked out that way naturally.
