Senior Boys: What Should You Wear to Your Senior Session?
You’ve booked your senior session and now you need to plan your outfits. I’ve created a make-your-own-outfit-combination with a list of tops, layering pieces, and pants. The combinations are all including only two types of pants to make outfit changes easy. Feel free to substitute a different style of pants if it suits your style better!

Pants:
Jeans (light wash, medium wash, dark wash, black)
Khaki/Khaki-Jeans (tan, brown, grey)
Tops:
Plain, nice t-shirt
Linen button down
Skater-style button down
Crewneck sweater
Plain, nice long sleeve
Polo
Layering Pieces:
Bomber jacket
Flannel
Jean jacket
Sweatshirt (normal or college, tech school, etc)
Letterman jacket
Crewneck sweater (great to layer over a collared shirt!)
Any other cool jacket/coat
When choosing your outfits from the combination list, keep in mind the colors and styles of each outfit so that you can add variety! Below are a few examples to help you get an idea.
Session A Outfits:
Medium wash jeans, linen button up
Brown khaki-jeans, black t shirt, maroon flannel
Medium wash jeans, letterman jacket
Session B Outfits:
Dark wash jeans, white t shirt, bomber jacket
Tan khaki-jeans, cream collared button up, olive crewneck sweater over button up
Tan khaki-jeans, college sweatshirt
Don’t forget to accessorize! Be intentional with the shoes you pick for each outfit (or have one pair that matches all outfits well) and if you have a favorite hat, bring it for a few shots! Watches and belts are another great way to elevate your outfit choices and personalize your outfits.
If you have an extra-curricular that comes with a uniform, such as a sport, choir, etc., consider wearing your uniform as one of your outfits! It is a fun way to ensure your senior photos are all-encompassing of your senior year. Some seniors prefer not to wear their full uniform. That can look like wearing a baseball uniform top with jeans or a t shirt that represents your sport or activity rather than the uniform at all.
