Allison’s Senior Portrait Session at the Seabeck Boat Launch in Seabeck, WA
Allison’s senior session at the Seabeck Boat Launch boasted not only a beautiful view of the Hood Canal, but a stunning view of the Olympic Mountains, as well! She wore a beautiful white dress and her North Kitsap High School graduation regalia, both of which matched the purples in the sky, water, and mountains seamlessly.
We took Allison’s senior photos the July after she graduated, allowing for her to receive her graduation accessories to wear in her portraits. In order to get the beautiful lighting and colors we had in her portraits, we met before sunrise! The early wakeup call was absolutely worth it, though.
If you are hoping to get this gorgeous backdrop for your senior pictures, too, I recommend picking a sunny morning with a low tide (this location has no beach if the tide is high) and be prepared to set your alarm super early. If you plan to wear a dress, planning your session for the warmer months would be best, though the sun rises earlier those months as well. If you are hoping to wear something warmer, such as a sweater and jeans, you can plan your session in one of the cooler months and get the benefits of a later-morning sunrise.
